Family in Focus is a psychological counselling practice focused on supporting individuals and families through the emotional and psychological challenges that can arise across different stages of life and relationships.
My work has a particular focus on motherhood and matrescence the psychological and emotional transition into motherhood as well as parenting, family relationships, emotional wellbeing, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship dynamics.
Alongside psychological counselling, I also offer NLP coaching to support clients in developing greater self-awareness, identifying unhelpful patterns, strengthening communication, setting meaningful goals, and creating positive behavioural change.

Is the coach directory profile really free?
Yes. Every Symbiosis graduate gets ongoing access at no cost — profile, business tools, resource library, and community. There is no subscription and no renewal fee.
Will I pay a commission on clients who find me through my coach profile?
No. Inquiries come directly to you, you set your own fees, and you keep them. Lumyx™ is a directory and a toolkit, not an agency.
Will a coach directory profile get me clients?
It makes you findable, which is a genuine part of the problem but not all of it. Coaches who write a specific profile, keep it current, and stay active in the network get inquiries from it. Coaches who post a listing and never return to it usually don't. The same is true of every marketing channel.
When can I list myself as a coach?
As soon as you graduate. Many students draft their profile during the final module so it goes live the week they certify, and the business templates are available to work through before then.
Is this useful if I coach inside an organization rather than running my own practice?
Plenty of Symbiosis graduates coach inside organizations rather than independently. The templates, resource library, CCE guidance and community are all just as relevant, and the profile is optional.
How do I renew my ICF credential and get CCE hours?
ICF credentials must be renewed every three years with 40 hours of Continuing Coach Education. The Lumyx™ resource library covers what qualifies and how to plan for it. The Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach program carries 29 CCE hours and can be applied toward renewal.
