ICF Accredited for ACC Credential
The Certified Executive Coach program is designed for coaches who wish to coach Executives, Managers, and Corporate Leaders. This is a DUAL CERTIFICATION program and extends the ICF Accredited Certified Life Coach program by 8 additional lectures. The dual-certification program is accredited by the ICF for a total of 81 ACSTH – and therefore fully meets the Training Hours requirement for the ICF ACC certificates. Course classes are scheduled such that they can be taken in parallel, and you complete both coaching programs in 24-weeks. At program completion, you receive TWO certifications – as a Certified Life Coach (or any other Specialty Designation that you may choose) and a Certified Executive Coach. These coaching certification programs will prepare you to serve your clients.
Success Conversion Coaching Programs are approved for coach training units through the International Coach Federation (ICF) and presented in partnership with The Life Coach Certification Group. You may view the ICF approval by visiting the ICF Training Program Search Service and typing “Symbiosis” (without the quotes) into the Training Organization search box.
Enroll in the standalone certification program to gain ACC Training Hours, or choose the ACC Platinum package – which includes PCC Mentoring – to gain both 81 Training Hours and 10 Mentor Coaching hours (valid for both ACC and PCC credentials), and be on your way to becoming an ICF credentialed executive coach.
Coaching Executives and Corporate Leaders
Corporations are operating in an increasingly competitive and global environment and it is crucial for them to make sure that their CEOs, executives, leadership teams, and managers are prepared to handle the potential challenges that such a business environment brings. Corporations and businesses hire Executive Coaches for many reasons including enhancing strategic thinking, interpersonal communication skills, conflict resolution, career development/transition, effective team building, performance management, etc. Executive Coaches work with senior executives and assist them in meeting these personal and business goals. To assist with this process, corporations are increasingly looking at either training someone in-house as an Executive Coach or bringing in Executive Coaches from outside to work with company leadership. Receiving coach training certification is one of the best ways to attract more clients and grow your online coaching practice.
The ICF Accredited Executive Coaching program is specifically designed for people who are interested in coaching executives, team leadership, and other managers within the corporate world.
Our coach certification programs are tailored for coaches who wish to work with CEOs, executive directors, and managers as well as with entrepreneurs and small business owners, to help them achieve their strategic, leadership, and business goals. In a series of 8 executive coaching training classes (over and above the core Certified Life Coach program), we provide you with all the tools necessary for launching a successful Executive Coaching practice. The coaching certification program is fully approved by the ICF for 81 ACSTH (Approved Coach Specific Training Hours) and includes lectures, reference material as well as a Harvard Business Review case study that is tailored for Executive Coaches.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions About Coaching Certification Programs
Let us help you obtain an executive coach certification by answering some FAQs about the executive coaching program:
What is an executive coaching certificate?
An executive coaching certificate extends a life coach’s skills in assisting, guiding, and training senior executives to meet certain personal and organizational goals that allow them to successfully manage their leadership roles. Having an executive coach certification means that you’re effectively equipped to coach executives through relevant core competencies such as strategic thinking, conflict resolution, team building, performance management, communication, etc. Coaching certification will help to develop the skills and expertise to help your clients.
How do you become a professional executive coach?
To become a professional executive coach, you must first enroll in the right certified coach training program. Symbiosis Coaching offers a dual-certification program that allows you to start with Certified Life Coach (CLC) training, then upgrade or extend the online certification with executive coaching models (encompassed in eight additional lectures). While it will take longer to complete the executive coaching program, the pros far outweigh any potential cons.
After you complete your certified executive coach training, you’ll be eligible to earn a certificate through the International Coach Federation (ICF), the world’s most recognized and respected coaching program certifications, which will certify your education, training, and experience.
How do I become an ICF executive coach?
Becoming an executive coach with an ICF certification is a rigorous process that requires five components: education, experience, mentor coaching, performance evaluation, and an exam. With Symbiosis Coaching, you can achieve all of these by enrolling in an ICF-backed program taught by professional ICF-certified coaches. With rigorous studies and training, you can successfully complete the executive coaching programs.
You must complete coach-specific education accredited by the ICF, such as Symbiosis Coaching’s programs.
You must log a certain amount of hours of coaching experience (it varies depending on the certificate you’re aiming for).
You must complete a minimum number of hours of mentor coaching with an ICF-credentialed professional to become a certified leadership coach. Coaching training programs often provide students with coaching opportunities.
You must pass a performance evaluation that assesses your coaching skills against the standards of the ICF before receiving your executive coaching certification.
You must pass a written exam that proves you understand and can apply the standards of ICF and its core competencies and code of ethics when coaching your students.
What do certified executive coaches earn?
In general, executive coaches earn more than life, health, wellness, or spiritual coaches. On average, they earn $500 per coaching session, with the lowest-paid professionals still commanding a modest $200 per hour. This comes out to around $100,000 to $150,000 a year. Engagements of executive coaches are often long-term, from three to twelve months; some coaches are even on retainer at the business. Online executive coaches can also coach clients in the United States along with other countries that speak English, which increases the number of clients they can help.
How much does it cost to become a certified executive coach?
Most of the costs of becoming an executive coach go to education programs. Symbiosis Coaching offers an online executive coach certification for $310 per month for six months, which is one of the best rates for online courses. You can also save $262 with the SuperSaver option, paying only a one-time fee of $1,598 for the executive coaching program. You get a total of eighty-one Approved Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) over twenty-four weeks, after which you receive two coaching certifications—as a certified life coach and a certified executive coach.
Are there any additional costs for the executive coaching certification?
Our graduates’ International Coach Certification is awarded through the Certified Coaches Alliance, which actively maintains all coaching certifications. The cost of affiliation upon graduation is a nominal $54.00 for every two years. Please see our FAQ page for details about the executive coaching affiliation.
