Asha has been in the field of teaching and learning, professionally, since 1994. She has a PhD in Aquaculture and a B.Ed and Cambridge diploma for teaching and learning.
“All this happened as a continuum in my quest to find meaning to what I enjoyed doing the most – listening, learning, and sharing”, says Asha.
“All through the 20 years as an educator my focus has been towards empowering teachers and young adults. I have conducted several workshops across the State on various topics pertaining to curriculum and class management. My designation currently is Teacher Mentor and Head of Training. I enjoy painting and have quite a few commissioned works – my favorite medium being oils. I enjoy music, dance, reading and just being in serene and scenic surroundings.”
So – why Life Coaching?
Here’s Asha, in her own words – “My work so far has been purely intuitive and based on compassion and understanding. I work with teachers on a day-to-day basis. I was constantly looking out for a professional, standardized format to follow as a trainer and mentor. Life Coaching as a career put all of ‘who I am and what I do’ in a professional scientific package and provided the reliability, authenticity, refinement and standardization that I was looking for.”
And why did she choose Symbiosis Coaching for her Life Coach training needs?
“I chose Symbiosis Coaching primarily because of its affordability. But I checked that only after first confirming the validity of the certification. As assured, I found the content and support exhaustive and thorough. The convenience of learning from home and the flexibility in swapping classes was a huge stress reliever. I found the entire process quite systematic.”
Asha has already started coaching and we wish her great success!
