Harpreet has an M.Sc (Gold Medal) in child development and a B.Ed (Gold Medal). She is an entrepreneur and in her free time, has been working with cancer patients on a voluntary basis.

So – why Life Coaching?

Here’s Harpreet, in her own words – “My husband is a cancer survivor, and during that tough phase in life, I realized that I had the ability to connect with people and also how supportive relationships can help people overcome this disease in a positive way. So I decided to work with patients on a voluntary basis as part of Indian cancer society. I now want to take this further and work as a Certified Wellness Coach.”

Mr. Dinakar Murthy is an Industrial Production Engineer with over 25 years of leadership experience mostly in the manufacturing domain. He spent more than half this time in Germany and Brazil. Ms. Rasika Batra, CLC Gurgaon, India

Rasika has close to 20 years of professional experience in the areas of social development, media, qualitative research and ethnography. A bulk of her experience has been in qualitative research.

Rasika graduated with History, economics and politics and dis a PGD in Social Communications and Media. She has also trained in NLP.

Currently Rasika does one qualitative research project a month, writes for a trend analysis company and has a coaching practice where she focuses on stereotypes and conflict management. Her practice is called “Mind the Gap”.

Rasika enjoys art, theatre, music, dance and craft. She loves to read and likes to engage with friends and family. She enjoys travelling very much and balances out her vacations between educational vacations, historical vacations and sacking on the beach kind of vacations.

Why did she choose Life Coaching as a career?

“Because this is what I have wanted to do all along”, says Rasika. “As someone close to me says- it fits me like a glove!”

Morli began her journey as a qualified clinical and community psychologist, and as a therapist, counselor, and teacher. She soon became an independent consultant working on health issues. Morli has made significant contributions in the field of sexual and reproductive health in a taboo driven socio cultural environment. She has worked extensively on capacity building, reviews, evaluations, assessments, programme planning and various programme management aspects. Morli has vast experience in the fiels of mentoring, training, module development, documentation and capacity needs assessment.

“My experience confirms my belief that the right attitude and right approach always bring positive results as well as client acceptance”, says Morli. “This has proven to be a successful guiding principle for me over the years in working with a wide range of groups and communities including school children, adolescents, youth, NCC cadets, army men and their wives, unskilled and skilled workers, NGOs, Government officials, bureaucrats, school teachers, school principals and headmasters, doctors, as well as vulnerable and marginalised populations such as sex workers and homosexuals.

Soniya has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is a psychotherapist and a school counselor. Soniya also has great interest in occult subjects and since the past nine years, she has been practicing Tarot Card Reading.

Mr. Vikram Mall, CLC, CMSLC Gorakhpur, India

Vikram started his career as a farmer and ran a poultry breeding farm. While pursuing his Masters, after his stint with farming, he met Dr Subhashini Passi with whom he worked for three years all over the country on Creativity and Whole Brain Thinking working with Ranbaxy, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Motors, Hindustan Motors, Gabriel India, Gujarat Steel Tubes. During this time he wrote articles on Creativity, Body Language and Meditation. He has also provided consulting and learning services to Nokia, Nokia Siemens, Safenet, and Oberthur besides working as guest faculty in colleges.

Vikram joined a social service outfit with which he worked with an Elderly Peoples home for a year in Cambridge, UK. He also did a short stint with Mayo College at Ajmer teaching computers and in his spare time, swimming. Vikram then went to work with The Body Shop at Dubai. Coming back to India, Vikram worked with Freight Systems, Samsung and Nokia. He focused on Learning and Development and ran a profit centre at Nokia besides having worked in Operational HR. Since May 2007 he has been an entrepreneur.

Over the 17 years he has worked in all areas of behaviour: Team Building, Leadership, Communication, Creativity, Behavioural Interview, Presentation Skills and Coaching. His work has taken him to Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, England, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and all over India. Vikram has the unique experience of working both indoors and outdoors and works with experiential methodology as the underlying tenet.

Besides work Vikram enjoys cooking, reading, horse riding, outdoors, poetry and SCUBA. Vikram has also passionately indulged in theatre. He is also a qualified Yoga Teacher from the Bihar School of Yoga at Munger, Bihar. He is also a Certified Life Coach, Clinical Hypnotist, and NLP Master Practitioner and certified to run MBTI, DISC & TKI.

“I had already been coaching while I was employed with Nokia and having seen its benefits both at work and in sports”, says Vikram. “Getting a certification and deeper understanding of Coaching was a natural progression from where I was.”

Amit has a post graduate (M.Com) degree in Accounts and Finance and is working as Sr. Executive Accounts. He has experience in HR Recruitment and Administration in addition to Accounts and Finance.

Amit is also a professional musician (Singer and Tabla player) and a sensitive poet/writer. He was a finalist in Sa Re Ga Ma Zee TV in 2001 and is currently working on a Marathi Album in which many celebrity singers like Shaan are singing his compositions. Amit has worked on professional spiritual projects of various Mantras/Bhajans has been acknowledged for the same.

Mr. Balasubramanyam is an Electrical Engineer and works as Director (Technical) with M/S Vmax Power Controls Pvt. Ltd. His company manufactured electrical control panels. Mr. Balasubramanyam is responsible for Product development, designing and implementing systems for quality assurance, recruitment and training of people to meet the company’s growing business demands.

Mr. Balasubramanyam says that making a difference in people’s lives has been a passion all his life. This is his calling.

A leading bank in India has made a short film on a life threatening incident which happened to Mr. Shankar. The film is shown as part of a training workshop that focuses on “Passion at Work”. He met with a serious accident many years back and was virtually written off. He was confined to bed more than a year with multiple fractures in his hand, leg, a burn injury on his stomach and a head injury. He braved the odds with sheer conviction and a burning desire to live life.

What attracted Mr. Shankar to the field of Life Coaching. Here it is, in his own words – “I firmly believe that each and every individual born in this world has immense talent and they need to be made aware of the same. Everybody has a right to be successful and I would love to coach them into being successful. Moreover I have met and trained thousands of people and I find that they just do not want to exercise options in coming out of problems. They are too mired in external beliefs and self made perceptions, not realizing that they are the only ones who could make a difference to their lives.”

Ms. Neelam Tiwari has graduated as a Certified Life Coach and a Certified Master Spirit Life Coach.

Neelam has an M.Sc in Physics and is now also a Certified Life Coach who specializes in corporate coaching, educational institution coaching and motivational speaking.

She has a total six years of work experience in the corporate sector, out of which she has been a team lead for three years. She is very well-versed with working in a corporate environment and knows that coaching and motivation are the need of the hour in the corporate sector. Mr. Justin Rabindra graduated from Symbiosis Coaching as a Certified Life Coach and a Certified Master Spirit Life Coach.

“I work as a trainer in an advertising agency (Ogilvy & Mather) in New Delhi”, says Justin. “There’s a host of training that I conduct and organize in the areas of Client servicing, soft skills, leadership skills and proprietary advertising planning and execution. “I think of Life Coaching as more of a way of life, and of living and communicating than a career, and I find aspects of what I learnt affecting several areas of my life including the way I communicate with my daughter, the way I deal with colleagues, my writing style, to name a few. Mr. Satish Rao has worked in large corporations for more than a decade. He changed his line of work to become a Self Employed professional and a Social Entrepreneur. His last Job was heading the Operations of a large non-captive delivery center with operations across Pan India.

Mr. Rao is a Business Graduate from Bangalore University and is extremely passionate about traveling. He has traversed the length and breadth of India and bordering countries.

Arti Kochhar lives in Gurgaon and graduated as a Certified Life Coach in November 2010.

Arti is a graduate in Psychology and for the past four years has been working as an OD and Behavioral Consultant/facilitator. She is a trained NLP practitioner, Counselor, Coach and Cognitive Behavior Therapist. She is also a Foot Reflexologist.
